Today, I'm grateful for...

Hello friends (or just Blair, since I'm pretty sure she's the only one that reads this blog - haha!) It's been awhile since I last posted. November and December were busy months traveling around for both work and fun family visits. We are so blessed that we get to travel so much right now in our life. When we were in the city, we packed our schedule with lots of fun hang-outs with friends and romantic date days and evenings out! Looking back on the end of the year, my heart is so grateful for the opportunities God has given us. Can't wait to see what's in store for 2013! Warning: Photo bomb ahead, but here is just a glimpse of what I'm grateful for the past couple of months:

Today, I'm thankful for...

A fun holiday in London with the hubby and for the fact that we were safe and together when Sandy hit New York.


A few of our favorite little blessings from the trip were:

1. Romantic strolls along the Thames River & through NottingHill

2. Adorable and delicious pubs!

3. Exploring Borough Market

4. Red telephone booths! I've decided London is just adorable.

 5. Concert with Train!

6. Great game at Wimbley Stadium

7. Barclay Bikes in Hyde Park. So many beautiful green parks in London!

 8. We had so much fun walking all over London! The black is all the areas of London we explored by foot. So grateful for my hubby. Exploring and experiencing the world with him is just the best!

Also overwhelmed for gratitude today for:
1. The Bowery Mission and the work it is doing to help serve the homeless and those displaced from their homes because of Sandy. I'm so inspired and encouraged by all those who are stepping up to love our hurting neighbors. I've had a lot of goosebumps and overwhelming tears these past couple of days.

2. My beautiful friend KP & her engagement to Chris this weekend! She deserves the best and my heart is just overflowing with joy celebrating with her!! I just love love :-)

Today I'm grateful for...

1. A chance to make some yummy meals this week: including spaghetti squash & cheeseburger pie!

2. Trying out a new bakery and eating delicious jam-filled home-made donuts by the East River. A breakfast picnic + long walk on the river + gorgeous fall weather = perfect Saturday morning!

3. Awesome worship music at church - so blessed by the leadership at Apostles Church. 

4. Meeting Leanna and getting to marvel at her tiny fingers, toes, and precious little button nose! 

5. Dancing in the apartment to the song "Some Nights" by Fun. . I feel like I could conquer the world after listening to this song - haha. So inspirational. Totally a new obsession :-) 

6. Getting to plan for a big adventure this weekend!! 

7. Gorgeous sunset tonight. Sweet dreams... I have a feeling it's going to be a great week :-)

Today I'm grateful for...

1. Planes that help make the distance from family seem not too far. 

2. Trips home to Houston. I feel so safe, loved and assured when I'm in my parent's home. I'm grateful that going home is something I always look forward to. I always leave a little tearful, but with a renewed perspective about the things I truly treasure in life. 

3. God's presence in New York City and His power and love that can capture even the most stubborn of hearts.

4. My husband and best friend who I love going on adventures with! Life is just sweeter together. 

5. Fall clothes, weather and delicious treats!

6. The football season and all the fun opportunities for adventures it has provided.

7. A life-long friend and a fun girls' weekend in the Hamptons!

Starting this busy week with a happy heart  :-) Lots of blessings to be grateful for!
